Lord I pray for today I pray you give me today that is all I ask I cannot change what happened yesterday and your job is preparing tomorrow. Give me today Lord I put my trust in you to carry me through this day.
Our worlds have been completely changed, they feel as if they have been put on pause. I have been getting worried and anxious of what is to come but after some thinking and dwelling in the Lord and his word I have learned to put my trust in God. No good comes out of worrying and anxiety. No matter how many times I remind myself of this somehow my worries come back to me, when this happens I pray. Pray this with me “Jesus I need you right now, here in this moment I need you” I have confidence in the Lord as I say this prayer knowing he will help me to make that step of today.
When someone says start you day off right you always think morning right? I know that is what I had thought: morning is the start to the day. No I was wrong the start of the day is in the evening. In the evening as we go to rest our head at night pray. Pray for Gods deliverance. We may be asleep but God is working and when you wake up that morning praise God and see what he has prepared for you.
“ I lay down and slept: I woke again, for the Lord sustained me.” (Psalm 3:5)
Have confidence in the Lord. He will provide you with his daily grace all you have to do is spread that grace to those around you. Now I know right now we have to keep our distance from one another but that does not mean we cannot spread daily grace. Send someone a text, FaceTime or send worship video that stuck out to you. Pray for one another. Do not put everything on your shoulders, focus on putting your trust in God and making today count. Live today for today not for yesterday or tomorrow but for today.
God I pray for everyone who’s lives have changed. I pray you take good care of them and there worries. Help them too remember you have a plan and to find your truth in all of the news we have been consumed with the past couple of weeks. Thank you Lord for Jesus and the cross. Thank you for forgiveness and your daily grace. I am putting my trust in you Lord. Only you can help me to conquer today. In the name of Jesus. Amen

Thank you, Marion for sharing your deep faith. As I lay my head down tonight, I will remember your words, “This is not the end of the day, but the beginning of tomorrow.” God’s got this. ❤️Love, Ann & Pat xo
