You are loved

•You are enough
•You are a child of God
•You are not alone
•You are Gods creation

If someone has ever said you were not loved, wanted or enough they were wrong, you are all of those things no matter the sins you have done. God does not expect us to be perfect he expected us to be human. Jesus died on the cross so our sins would be forgiven.

It is so easy to get stuck in the image social media expresses, never feeling good enough cause you don’t look like someone or don’t get as many likes. Don’t change yourself for others, God created you perfectly.

Psalm 139:14 “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

Happy Sunday

Good morning and happy Sunday! I want to share this bible verse I found with you. Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” My morning prayer today is for the person reading this right now. I pray today if you have not found hope you find it. That you find the light in the darkness and the good in the world. I pray that you open your heart to the Holy Spirit. I pray your life has a foundation made of love, hope and peace! Happy Sunday everyone! ❤️

July 6, 2020 I have been counting down the days to this very day feeling as if it couldn’t come any sooner. Today my best friend was supposed to jump on a plane say “see you later Brazil” and head to her second home, Sparta Michigan. That’s how we had planned this day to go, but God had other plans. Instead she is still in Brazil and I am still here in Sparta waiting for her to come a different day, month or year.

I believe that God has a plan and this was not part of his plan yet and it’s not my job to know the plan but to follow and trust him. I’m forever thankful for technology. It has made it possible for me to stay in close contact with all of my family worldwide.

I’m telling you this as a reminder to not lose hope and that you are not alone. Many many many of us are having to cancel/change plans. Sports teams are trying to figure out a new normal, ect. With all of the disappointment you may be feeling reminded yourself of the things that have not been cancelled such as nature, communication, most importantly icecream shops! Find hope, even if you are over 5,000 away like me and Maria there is still hope and happiness. ❤️

One in a million

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of starts; he gives to all of them their names. Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.” Psalms 147: 3-5

Have you ever laid outside and tried counting the stars? I sure have multiple times. Each time I would lose track and eventually stop counting. I like to think of the stars as a reflection of earth. Each and everyone of us is a star. There are billions of people on this earth and we couldn’t possibly count them all if we tried, just like when we try and count the stars. Jesus on the other hand he has counted all of the stars and given them all names, just like us.

I’m telling you this because you may feel invisible, unnoticed on this earth but Jesus he notices you, he knows you, he knows your name and he wants you to know his too. So next time you go star gazing and you try counting the stars remember that our God was not given named almighty for nothing, he was named almighty because he counted the stars and knows them by there name, just like he knows you by yours. If you are still reading this I want to remind you that you don’t go unnoticed. 🙂

Putting Jesus first

On June 20th I decided to start the Bible reading plan in the back of my bible, each day you read part of the Old Testament, Psalms and the New Testament. It has only been a week and I already feel my relationship with Jesus growing. I have been staring my mornings off by reading Gods word. This brings a beautiful start to my day. By doing this I’m letting Jesus lead me into the day he has prepared for me.

The most important thing I’ve learned is this “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” Hebrews 13:8 I had been looking for a constant for so long turns out it was right in front of me my entire life. Jesus is my constant. He is yours too. He is the same loving, caring, kind, companionate, forgiving, pure hearted soul he was yesterday, is today and will be tomorrow. Knowing that gives me so much peace as so many people may leave and change in our lives, Jesus Christ will stay constant.

If you are still reading this I want to challenge you to put Jesus first. Whether it’s praying when you wake up, starting a devotional on the holy bible app, reading your favorite verse or even starting a bible plan. Whatever it may be I want to challenge you to being or grow your relationship with the Lord!

The Father’s Day

Father’s Day is a very important day. There are so many amazing, loving dads to be thankful for. So many grandpas to hug. For some people today is a hard day because they lost there amazing, loving father, or there grandpa who had the best hug. For others today is just a normal day because they never had an amazing, loving father. I never celebrated Father’s Day, but today I am. I am celebrating Father’s Day in honor of my Heavenly Father the Holy Spirit. He is the most loving, kind, caring, pure hearted Father. He is my heavenly Father, he is you’re heavenly Father, he is your neighbors heavenly Father. If you have a amazing, loving dad or a grandpa with the best hug celebrate them, but also make sure to thank your Holy Father for blessing you with them. Happy Father’s Day to the amazing, loving dads, and to the grandpas with the best hugs. Happy Father’s Day to the “unbiological” dads. Happy Father’s Day to any male role models. Happy Father’s Day to the soon to be dads. Happy Father’s Day to the dads who we lost to soon. Happy Father’s to our Heavenly Father. ❤️

God’s light shines brighter than the darkness

Today as I was headed to the grocery store two beautiful things happened. I saw pure love and kindness. While headed to the grocery store I saw two police officers helping an old man with his groceries, this made my eyes open, it reminded me that there are good people, that the world is not as bad as social media portrays it to be. Then as I headed home from the store I was getting on to M37 and a car had broke down in the middle of the street, at first I did not realize what was going on I just thought it was traffic then I saw three large guys running my direction at first I was scared, then I realized they were coming to help push the broken down car. That feeling of being scared automatically change to a smile, my heart was warm. God answered the prayer I had been praying for months, the one where I asked for hope. I was so close to pushing grocery shopping off for another days task but something told me to go today. I realized I have been living my life on cruise control, I was not including God into my everyday life, this is when I started losing hope. Once I turned off cruise control and breathed God showed me to incidents social media or the news would not put on a headline. It was pure love and kindness. It was God shining his light on the world I was losing hope in. God answered my prayer his answer was “yes.” Yes the world still has goodness, love and kindness. Yes things will get better, but yes it will take time. As I was writing this the dogs began to brake I got up and looked out my window to see a man saving a baby bird in the street. This world is not as bad as we may think. If you are still reading this I challenge you to be the person that shines Gods light.

The breeze the felt more like a hug

No words can describe my feeling from tonight. The way I felt in today’s sun, rain and the breeze that came after. The weather of today described my exact feelings. I’m in awe of how connected we really our to this planet, heaven and the Lords love. I could feel it more than ever tonight, I felt it in the my bones and soul. It is peace. It is love. It is strength. I am receiving all of this from the Lord and my mom who is right beside him. I broke down my walls and I am learning to embrace it all.

Today my day started with a beautiful sunny car ride singing to the top of my lungs with a true friend, then I went to work expressing my old soul with old and wise souls at the nursing home, when I got home I enjoyed the sun and decided I was going to plant flowers and visit my mom. This is when my heart began to hurt, and it started to rain but just for a minute or two. As I was putting the flowers in the pot it began to thunder storm but as soon as I reached the cemetery the rain came to a pause. I place the flowers next to my moms stone and shared sometime with her feeling her presence as I began to cry it began to rain again, then came the breeze the breeze that felt more like a hug telling me I’m going to be okay and I am not alone.

What is more beautiful than that, than feeling pure love and comfort from the Lord and the person you miss the most sitting right there next to him. As begin to pray and look back at today I open my bible to Luke 1:28. “The angle came to her and said, “Greetings! The Lord is with you; you are very special to him.” After reading this verse my soul feels so full. Full of Gods love.

Each one of us is special to the Lord, and he is ALWAYS with us, look for him.

New life in Christ

Philippians 3:8-10 “Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on my faith that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his suffering, becoming like him in his death”

I found this verse today, and it did more than speak to me, it remind me that all the things that were my life before Christ meant nothing to me. That I was not living with a purpose. It was a lifeless life that had no hope, trust, and love from Jesus. I remember when I did learn about Jesus. I remember how my heart felt so full and not hurting, I remember my eyes were open wide looking at this new life I had just been given.

If you are in the same place I was a year ago not believing in Jesus I pray you open your heart out to him, maybe try watching an online church service or trying to pray, learn the lyrics to a worship song. Leave the life filled with pain and suffering and begin a life with Jesus filled with purpose. All you have to do is say to him “Jesus I’m ready, I’m ready to begin a new life with you.” Jesus is waiting for you. He already knows your name, he knows your story not just the parts that you let the world see but the full story with both the good and bad. He wants to forgive you. He wants your hardest times to have the greatest purpose. He loves you! If you don’t already have a personal relationship with Jesus I pray you start it today.
