Jesus calms a storm
Matthew 8;23-27 “And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. And they went and woke him saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.” And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying “What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?”
One of the most extraordinary things is watching God create miracles, make the impossible possible. Stress blinds us from see this take place, blinds us from what is going on in the spiritual world. It makes us unable to see what God us doing in our lives, the prayers he’s answering, the good he has blessed us with and the love he provides. When we are able to clear are minds, shown to us is the good, the light in our darkness and the healing that is to come.
I don’t know about you but I want to see God in action and the only way to do that is with a clear mind and full trust in him. There are so many ways to clear your mind and be fully present with the Lord. For you it may be taking a walk, going for a run or bike ride. My favorite is meditation. You can do this anytime of day. The point of meditation is to allow your whole entire body and mind to relax, your mind to be crystal clear. This is when you can take a moment and just simply be with God. Soak up his marvelous presents and let him rejuvenate your heart, soul and mind.
Let God remain in control, not stress and anxiety. Removes throughs burdens and give them to God, seek rest in him. Let him rejuvenate your heart, mind and soul.
