Currently I am writing this at 4:30 AM I do not know what I am writing simply just letting my pen move up and down.
I don’t remember falling asleep last night, my body was tired, still is but my brain has other things that it has to sort through, many things in the category of: worry, stress, fear. The three things God tells us not to do.
Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it’s own things.”
Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
|| Timothy “ For God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
How come I want to carry all my burdens alone when there is a God who wants to take them off my shoulders. Turn my worry into joy and peace to turn my fears into hope, stress into love.
Letting go is not an easy thing to do I struggle with this in many categories like forgiveness, items and worries.
You don’t believe me? On my desk there are dead flowers, I don’t want to let them go they are still beautiful.
We don’t have to let go of everything in life. What is the life without flowers and pictures showing a day full of love and joy? But what is life full of loss, worry, stress, fear, lack of forgiveness?
It is not the way I want to live the rest of my time here on earth. There are so many other feelings and adventures I want to go on that only love, joy, hope and faith can take me on. I want to travels with worry, stress and fear. In order to live the life God intended for me I must let go. Ask for his help.
If you feel overwhelmed wishing there were more hours in a day ask God for help, he will be more than glad open your heart to new ways of letting go. You are not in this alone I too am on a similar journey.
